Jennifer Lopez and Lin-Manuel Miranda have performed their Orlando-inspired song "Love Make the World Go Round" for the first time on the late night TV.

The pair teamed up with house band The Roots for a dramatic performance of their peace anthem on Tuesday's Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.  J.Lo appeared in an eye-catching shawl which provided the color for a performance otherwise framed in darkness.

The track, a tribute to the victims of the Orlando nightclub massacre, raises funds for the Hispanic Federation's Proyecto Somos Orlando initiative, which pledges to “address the long-term needs for mental health services that are culturally competent and bilingual.”

J.Lo and Miranda performed the song live for the first time on the Today show earlier in the week, and its lyric video has debuted online. The song was made available for download July 7 on iTunes.

Miranda, creator of the smash hit Hamilton musical, teased the late night performance with a tweet: “J.Lo. The Roots. Yours truly. Tonight."
