Shakira Heading To North American Arenas

The artist is touring in support of her first predominantly English-language Epic album, "Laundry Service," which is No. 42 in its 44th week on The Billboard 200 and has sold 2.9 million copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan. The track "Suerte" won best music video last week at the Latin Grammy awards in Los Angeles.
In conjunction with the upcoming tour, Shakira has established a fan club through her official Web site. For a yearly membership of $29.95 ($34.95 outside the U.S.), fans will have access to a private message board, concert tickets prior to the general public, and discounted merchandise offers.
