Miami To Host Latin Rock Festival

The day-long concert will feature an international cast with Argentina's La Mosca Tse Tse, Rafaga, and Sindicato del hip hop, Puerto Rico's Fiel a la Vega and Skapulario, Panama's Los Rabanes and Los 33, Uraguay's Hereford and Jorge Nasser, Peru's Pedro Suarez - Vertiz, Spain's Javier Garcia, and local Miami-based acts Volumen Cero and Locos por Juana. Organizer EK Events Group promises more acts will be added as the event approaches.
Advance tickets are priced at $15 and are available online through the event's official Web site; for information on local ticket outlets call 305-358-9911. Tickets will also be available for $20 at the venue on the day of the show.
EK Events Group is also the organizer of Miami's yearly Argentinean festival, and has several events already on its schedule for 2003. In April, it will stage El V Festival Argentino, followed by July's Verano Rock event, a September Brazilian festival, and the second Latin rock show -- II Rock en Miami -- slated for November.
