Elektra Entertainment Group and London-based wireless marketing firm not13 are offering a $1 million prize in a new cell-phone and two-way pager promotion for the Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliott album "Under Construction," due Nov. 12, Billboard Bulletin reports.

Consumers who send a text message with the word "Missy" from their wireless phone to 80808 or from a two-way pager to win@missymobile.com will be entered into a lottery-style sweepstakes to win $1 million. Five $1,000 cash prizes, 25 signed CDs, and 25 Elliott CD libraries will also be awarded.

The promotion, known as the "Missy $Million," will be promoted through a multimillion-dollar marketing campaign that includes spots on TV, radio, print, outdoor, and online media. A Web site, missymobile.com, features numerous applications for mobile devices, including personalized m-cards (text message cards), e-cards, a hip-hop dictionary, free text-message sending, and a viral "nickname" engine.

"Work It," the first single from the new set, is No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Rap Tracks chart and No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week.
