Papa Roach is planning to embark on its maiden headlining tour Jan. 13 in Vancouver and has dates targeted through Feb. 12 in Atlanta. The tour, with Swedish rock act Blindside opening, is expected to run into mid-April, although no venues have yet been nailed down. Papa Roach is in New Zealand tonight (Nov. 22), kicking off a short opening stint with the Red Hot Chili Peppers through Dec. 3.

The quartet will return to the U.S. for a Dec. 7 date in Boston as part of the WAAF holiday radio show. Four additional radio-station sponsored gigs will sfollow in San Diego; Estero, Fla.; San Jose, Calif.; and Memphis.

As previously reported, Papa Roach is also set to play the Rock the Rockies concert Jan. 25 in Steamboat, Colo. Show sponsor Hard Rock Cafe is holding a national contest to select an opening act.

Papa Roach will be touring behind its latest album, "lovehatetragedy" (DreamWorks), which debuted at No. 2 on The Billboard 200 in July and has sold 521,000 copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan. The single "She Loves Me Not" peaked at No. 5 on Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks chart in August, while "Time and Time Again" topped out at No. 26 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Tracks tally earlier this month.
