Shania Twain and Kenny Chesney will perform at the 2003 CMT Flameworthy Video Music Awards, set for April 7, at Nashville's Gaylord Entertainment Center. The show will be the second annual edition of the awards, which debuted in June on the cable country music network.

Additional performers will be announced soon for the awards, which are voted for by fans through the CMT Web site.

Chesney was among the big winners at this year's awards, taking home video of the year and male video of the year awards for "Young." Toby Keith's "I Wanna Talk About Me" video also won two awards. Performers included Chesney, Keith, Travis Tritt, Alison Krauss and Union Station, Sara Evans, Alan Jackson, Martina McBride, and Brooks & Dunn.

Twain's latest album "Up!" (Mercury Nashville) has spent four straight weeks at No. 1 on The Billboard 200, and has sold 2.2 million copies in the U.S. to date, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
