Stories about Ricky Martin's 2003 Spanish-launguage album, Les Nubians collaborate with Talib Kweli, and the WE: Women's Entertainment special "rocktalk."

Ricky MartinRicky Martin will release his first Spanish-language album in five years in 2003, Billboard Bulletin reports. The disc is expected from Sony Discos in the first half of the year.

Martin has been working with writers such as Franco de Vita (who penned his hit "Vuelve"), Alejandro Sanz, Juanes, Juan Luis Guerra, Tommy Torres, and Ricardo Arjona.

Talib KweliRapper Talib Kweli recently recorded vocals that will be featured on "Temperature Rising," a new single from French hip-hop/soul duo Les Nubians. The song will be featured on "One Step Forward," the group's sophomore album, which is due March 25 via Higher Octave.

The album is the follow-up to 1999's "Princesses Nubiennes," which peaked at No. 25 on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and No. 100 on The Billboard 200.

PinkOn Jan. 3, the WE: Women's Entertainment cable network will premiere "rocktalk," a two-part special about women in music. Hosted by Lisa Ling ("The View"), the show will feature interviews with Pink, Alanis Morissette, Macy Gray, Ashanti, Nelly Furtado, and Kylie Minogue.

The show is just part of WE's annual month-long music series, "We Got the Beat," which will air each Friday night in January. Among the other specials to look forward to is "Rock 'n' Moms," as well as concerts by Donna Summer and the Go-Go's.
