News on Phil Collins, Charlotte Church, Source

Groove Armada"Urban Renewal," an album of Phil Collins' best-known songs covered by top R&B stars, will finally see release in North America Feb. 11 via Atlantic Records. The album, which was released in Germany in May 2001, features Ol' Dirty Bastard interpreting "Sussudio," Lil' Kim dueting with Collins on "In the Air Tonight," Brandy singing with her brother, Ray-J on "Another Day in Paradise," and Kelis belting out "I Don't Care Anymore."

"I am deeply flattered that these songs have transcended and crossed barriers that some assume are there not to be messed with," Collins said in a statement about the album.

Groove ArmadaMulti-platinum classical vocalist Charlotte Church is poised to make a surprise U.K. chart appearance on a crossover dance hit. "The Opera Song (Brave New World)" by Jurgen Vries, aka dance-pop producer Darren Tate, carries the credit "featuring CMC," a thin disguise for the teenage star.

The track will be released Jan. 20 on the Direction label via Sony, having been championed on specialist dance shows on BBC Radio 1 and reaching No. 1 on the national CHR station's Buzz Chart. Vries reached No. 13 in the U.K. singles chart in September with "The Direction."
