Rapper Ja Rule will be hitting the road later this month for a host of dates in the eastern half of the U.S. The run will kick off Jan. 29 and is currently scheduled to last through a Feb. 20 show in Milwaukee. Eve will open all of the shows, while Murder Inc. labelmate Charli Baltimore will perform on three of the scheduled shows.

Tickets to about half of the shows are already on sale via Ticketmaster. The Jan. 16 Dekalb, Ill., concert will go on sale tomorrow (Jan. 16); shows in Carbondale, (Feb. 15) and Champaign, Ill. (Feb. 16), Columbia, Mo. (Feb. 17), and Minneapolis (Feb. 19) go on sale Saturday.

Prior to the tour, both Ja Rule and Eve will perform tomorrow at the WWPR New York's "Power 105 Powerhouse" concert in East Rutherford, N.J. Originally scheduled for Nov. 14, the show will also feature performances by Ashanti, Busta Rhymes, Doug E. Fresh, Erick Sermon, Faith Evans, Fat Joe, Nas, R. Kelly, and Sean Paul.

Once the tour is underway, Ja Rule and Eve will steer the ship to Atlanta on Feb. 7 to join Jurassic 5, Biz Markie, and Doug E Fresh for a special "Love-In Concert" at AmericasMart. Sponsored by Nike's (Michael) Jordan brand, the event ties in with the National Basketball Association's All-Star Weekend events in the city. General admission tickets for the show are already on sale via Ticketmaster.

Ja Rule is touring in support of his latest Murder Inc./Def Jam album "The Last Temptation." Released in November, the set debuted at No. 2 on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and No. 4 on The Billboard 200. Eve is out behind her Ruff Ryders/Interscope set "Evolution," which debuted in September at No. 1 on the R&B/Hip-Hop tally and No. 6 on The Billboard 200.
