Rancid, the Distillers, Pennywise, and the Used are among the acts slated to perform at the 2003 edition of the Warped Tour, according to a tour spokesperson. As in previous years, the tour will launch in mid-June in Boise, Idaho. A full lineup and itinerary are expected to be announced in coming days, with the U.S. leg of the tour slated to wrap in early August.

Other acts on board are AFI, Glassjaw, Simple Plan, and Face To Face. At present, all the aforementioned acts are slated to appear on the main stage, and all have played Warped Tour in the past. Now in its ninth year, the festival will once again be a joint production of Kevin Lyman, Creative Artist Agency, and Vans.

Last year's Warped Tour was the most successful yet, with Bad Religion, Flogging Molly, Good Charlotte, and Thursday helping to rake in more than $12 million. Worldwide, attendance figures topped 500,000, another record.
