Tortoise, Stephen Malkmus & the Jicks, the Donnas, Cat Power, Calexico, Hot Rod Circuit, Trans Am, Dead Moon, the Pattern, Folk Implosion, the Dirtbombs, the Go, No Knife, Smog, and a reunited Camper Van Beethoven are among the acts confirmed for the 11th Noise Pop Festival. The event will be held Feb. 25-March 2 throughout San Francisco.

This year's Noise Pop will also include an educational series, panel discussions, music-themed film screenings, and community outreach elements, helped in part by a partnership with Seattle's interactive music museum Experience Music Project.

Festival badges go on sale Sunday (Jan. 19) at Noise Pop's official Web site, while many individual show tickets will also go on sale Sunday through the venues' respective ticket outlets. Visit the Web site for more information, including specific show dates and times.

Last year's 10th anniversary edition of Noise Pop was commemorated by a two-disc compilation CD featuring songs by artists who have performed throughout the event's history, many of whom contributed previously unreleased or live tracks.
