Justin Bieber's 'What Do You Mean?' Was Kanye West's Favorite Song of 2015
“What Do You Mean?” was Justin Bieber’s first single to hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart – and it was also Kanye West’s personal No. 1 song of the year 2015.
Kanye West Plans to Release Three Albums Per Year
The rapper tweeted his appreciation for the song on Sunday (March 13), simply saying, “What do you mean by @JustinBieber was my favorite song of 2015.”

Back in September, when the track first charted, Bieber had some nice things to say about Kanye, as well.
“Kanye’s a talker, so you get him in a room and he just starts talking, and he just starts ranting, and I just sit and I listen because he’s been through a lot of stuff,” the singer said in an interview with France’s Clique TV. “He’s not just talking to just talk. He’s obviously got something to say that he’s feeling from his heart. So when I hear that, I like to just sit and listen. He’s a really, really smart guy.”
After praising Bieber’s song on Sunday, Kanye also shared some observations about himself and optimism for the future in a series of tweets.
“I have discovered my single greatest quality. I care,” he said.
“Everyone can say anything they want about me but they could never say that I didn't care,” he continued. “I care about people. I care about our future. I care about truth. I care about quality. I think human beings can create a Utopia. I believe in us.”
