Country artist Johnny Paycheck will be laid to rest tomorrow (Feb. 25) following a funeral service in Nashville. As previously reported, Paycheck died last week at music city's Vanderbilt University Medical Center of emphysema and asthma. He was 64.

Visitation will be held today, with the funeral service scheduled for 1 p.m. ET at the city's Woodlawn Funeral Home. He will be buried in a plot donated by and next to one reserved for fellow country star George Jones.

"We all know and love each other, even though we don't get together," Jones told WSMV-TV in an interview broadcast Friday, Reuters reports. "Anything of this nature, it's taken care of by friends."

Beginning tonight at 9 p.m. ET tonight, Eddie Stubbs will host a five-hour tribute to Paycheck during his WSM Nashville radio show. Featuring the Grand Ole Opry member's recordings and archive interviews, the show will be heard locally on 650 AM and online at wsmonline.com.
