The Mooney Suzuki, known to most for its version of "Don't Fence Me In" heard in a Nike TV commercial, will headline the upcoming Advanced Warning tour. Slated to kick off March 13 during the annual South By Southwest (SXSW) event in Austin, Texas, the tour will also feature the Ravonettes, Longwave, and White Light Motorcade.

Presented by Nokia, College Music Journal (CMJ), and MTV2, the tour takes its name from an MTV show, and will visit mostly college campuses through its 22 dates, wrapping April 6 in Santa Clara, Calif. Tickets will cost less than five dollars for each show.

In conjunction with the tour, MTV2 will on Friday (March 7) air an "Advance Warning" special featuring the Ravonettes. MTV2 is also selling a seven-track "Advance Warning" CD via its Web site. The disc opens with "Attack of the Ghost Riders" by the Ravonettes, and also features cuts by the Exies, Sahara Hotnights, Belly Dancer, Kardinal Offishall, T.O.K., Maroon 5, and the Format.

Nokia is offering ring tones of songs by each Advance Warning tour act on the tour's official Web site, and will showcase its wares at each college venue.
