Blink 182, Puddle Of Mudd, and Sum 41 are among the acts confirmed for Rolling Rock's Town Fair IV, scheduled for July 26 at Pittsburgh's Heinz Field. Def Leppard, 311, and newcomers Trapt are also slated for the event, which will relocate this year to the Pittsburgh Steelers' home venue after being previously held in the brewery's home town of Latrobe, Pa.
"The artists on this year's line-up may have their own distinct styles, but they all have one thing in common -- they're thrilled to play Rolling Rock Town Fair IV," said Lee Heiman, president of event producer Track Entertainment, in a statement.
"We're serving up an eclectic dose of energetic, alternative, and classic rock," said Rolling Rock director of marketing John Genese. Staind, Stone Temple Pilots, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Godsmack, Nickelback, P.O.D., Outkast, Moby, and Alien Ant Farm are among the performers who have previously rocked the Town Fair.
In conjunction with the Hard Rock Cafe, Rolling Rock is holding a nationwide talent search to locate the Fair's opening act. In addition to the music, the event will feature a ferris wheel, food vendors, a temporary tattoo studio and, of course, a well-stocked beer garden. Tickets for this year's installment go on sale in May, with purchase locations and prices to be announced soon.
