The Foo Fighters are lining up dates for a spring U.S. tour, set to begin April 10 in Bakersfield, Calif. Dates are set through April 30 in Washington, D.C., with many more expected to be added. The group is touring in support of its latest RCA album "One by One," which is No. 73 in its 20th week on The Billboard 200. Latest single "Times Like These" is No. 6 on Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks chart and No. 10 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks tally.

The Foos are also confirmed for summer appearances at the U.K.'s V2003 festival in mid-August and Glasgow's Big Day Out at the Green. Some of the U.S. shows are already sold out, but the band's official Web site has information on upcoming ticket presales.

Prior to the tour, Foo Fighters bassist Nate Mendel is rejoining his former Sunny Day Real Estate bandmates Jeremy Enigk and William Goldsmith to tour the U.S. as the Fire Theft. The group plays a sold-out show tonight (March 19) at New York's Bowery Ballroom, and its in-progress debut album will feature Mendel on bass.
