Music related TV highlights for the week of March 24-30, 2003.

If you like superstar divas and big, lavish productions (and really, who doesn't?), then we've got something very special in store. Along with a new album ("One Heart," Epic), this week will see the opening of Celine Dion's "A New Day" at the brand spankin' new Caesar's Colosseum in Las Vegas. On Tuesday (March 25), 'N Sync's Justin Timberlake will host the CBS special "Celine In Las Vegas... Opening Night Live!" -- which promises a first look at the spectacular.

C'mon, even the most jaded out there will want to catch a glimpse at this multimedia affair. Directed by Franco Dragone -- known for his impressive work with Circe Du Soliel -- the stage features the largest indoor video screen in North America, a 22,450 square foot stage, and a cast of 60 dancers, musicians, and other performers. The show is guaranteed to be one of the hottest tickets in Vegas for the next three years, so it's worth taking an early peek at the goods.

Beatle Alert! Ringo Starr will also be releasing a new album this week ("Ringo Rama," Koch), and he'll be making a couple of visits to small screen outlets to promote the set. First up is a visit to the syndicated "Live With Regis and Kelly" show on Monday. Regis Philbin's co-host Kelly Ripa won't be there, but "Daily Show" host Jon Stewart will be filling in and will undoubtedly have some smart-alecky comments for the former Beatle.

On Tuesday, the actual release date of "Ringo Rama," Starr will be looking for a taste of the teen mayhem he enjoyed in the early days of the Beatles when he visits MTV's "Total Request Live." The afternoon video countdown show will find Ringo chatting up host Carson Daly, who will also interview B2K that afternoon.

OK, so you've got Celine, you've got Ringo... What more could you want? How about Madonna? Would that satisfy your superstar needs? If so, you're in luck, she'll be chatting with the nice folks on NBC's "Today" show early on Wednesday morning.

MTV's "SB03" spring break programming was rescheduled from last week to this one, so keep an eye on the channel Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for appearances by rapper-of-the-moment 50 Cent, Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliott, Mariah Carey, and the All American Rejects taped recently in Miami. Girls in tiny bikinis and muscular guys cavorting on the beach are also safe bets.

On Saturday, catch up on some things you may have missed, as Fox's "Mad TV" reruns an episode featuring the Strokes, NBC's "Saturday Night Live" rebroadcasts Beck's recent appearance, and PBS stations will air a classic installment of "Austin City Limits" featuring Leonard Cohen.

The last big highlight of this week comes on Sunday, when NBC's "American Dreams" welcomes LeAnn Rimes and Duncan Sheik as guest stars to its cast. Rimes will portray the great Connie Francis on the 1950s-set show, and Sheik will show up as Bobby Darin.
