Pop star Christina Aguilera has lent her latest single, "Fighter," to the National Basketball Association (NBA) for the organization's latest "Love It Live" promotional television ads. A 90-second music video spot featuring Aguilera preparing for a center court performance at the Staples Center in Los Angeles will premiere April 6 during ABC's telecast of the Washington Wizards vs. Boston Celtics game.

Along with Aguilera, the clip will also feature on-court footage of NBA stars Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O'Neal, and Yao Ming, among others. Thirty and 60-second versions of the spot will be seen during game broadcasts on various networks leading up to the NBA Playoffs in late April.

"Fighter" is the third single from Aguilera's latest RCA album, "Stripped." Previous singles, "Beautiful" and "Dirrty" have peaked at No. 2 and No. 48, respectively, on Billboard's Hot 100. Released in November, the album debuted at No. 2 on The Billboard 200 and has sold 2.2 million copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Aguilera joins long list of artists whose music and/or image has been featured in the NBA's "Love it Live" spots, including Pink, Lenny Kravitz, No Doubt, Elton John, the Rolling Stones, Frank Sinatra, and Santana.

Additionally, NBA fans who purchase any regular or post-season game tickets through NBA.com, 800-4NBA-TIX, or Ticketmaster.com will be automatically entered into the NBA's "Love It Live" sweepstakes. The grand prize is a trip and a pair of tickets to a 2003 NBA Finals game and tickets and backstage passes to Aguilera's Justified & Stripped summer tour with Justin Timberlake.
