The first leg of the Dead Summer Getaway 2003 will kick off June 15 with a previously announced performance at the second annual Bonnaroo Music Festival in Manchester, Tenn., and last through early July. Details of the second leg, which will run July 29-Aug. 10, have not yet been announced.

Steve Winwood and Willie Nelson will accompany the Dead on the tour's first leg. Winwood is slated for June 17-25 shows, with Nelson joining the tour for concerts scheduled June 27-July 3. Cities and opening acts have not been announced for the July 6-8 stops that will close out the first string of summer dates.
