As her summer North American tour takes shape, Bjork has unveiled plans to release new versions of her four studio albums as well as a series of DVDs. On the album front, the artist has gathered live versions of the songs from the albums "Debut," "Post," "Homogenic," and "Vespertine" and will repackage them in June or July as part of a limited edition "Live Box Set."

Three documentaries are also getting the DVD treatment: "Southbank Show," "Inside Bjork," and "Minuscule," filmed by Ragga Gestsdottir during Bjork's "Vespertine" tour. Two volumes of Bjork's videos and a concert taped at London's Royal Opera House round out the upcoming DVD releases.

As previously reported, Bjork is gearing up to spend the summer on tour throughout the world, beginning May 24 in London. Her previously announced Aug. 22 show at KeySpan Park in Coney Island, N.Y., will be followed by a second concert the next day. An Aug. 18 appearance at Red Rocks Amphitheatre outside of Denver has also been confirmed.

Bjork will once again be backed on tour by experimental electronic duo Matmos and harpist Zeena Parkins, as well as the Icelandic String Octet, who played on and toured in support of "Homogenic." Amid all the upcoming activity, she is also laying down tracks for her next studio set, which is being referred to as "The Lake Album."
