StyxVeteran rock band Styx, citing travel warnings to the city of Toronto regarding Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS), has cancelled a Tuesday (April 29) concert slated for the city's Hard Rock Cafe. "The band was told by the Center for Disease Control in Atlanta that if they came into contact with SARS, they would be quarantined in America upon their return, so they have decided not to take the chance of being exposed," according to a statement. No make-up date has been announced.

The disease, which has resulted in 16 area deaths, has also forced Lisa Marie Presley and the Notwist to cancel scheduled Toronto dates.
