Thalia, Alexandre Pires, and A.B. Quintanilla III & Kumbia Kings are among the latest performers added to the 2003 Billboard Latin Music Awards ceremony. Others who have signed on are Grupo Limite, Eros Ramazzotti, Gilberto Santa Rosa, and David Bisbal.

They join previously announced performers Ricky Martin, Pilar Montenegro, Chayanne, and Intocable at the event, which will be held May 8 at the Miami Arena and broadcast May 11 by Telemundo at 7 p.m. ET/PT. Special guest Armando Manzanero, Tito Nieves, Robi "Draco" Rosa, and Albita will also appear as presenters.

Telemundo's coverage of the Billboard Latin Music Awards will begin with "La Alfombra Roja de Billboard," an hour-long pre-show from the red carpet. Following the three-hour awards program, the Spanish-language network will wrap with a one-hour special, "Billboard: La Fiesta."

As previously reported, Montenegro and sibling trio Las Ketchup top the list of finalists for this year's awards, as each will compete in seven categories. Colombian pop/rocker Juanes is close behind, competing in six categories, while Mexican/Argentine duo Sin Bandera and regional Mexican singer Aracely Arambula are each up for five awards.

Manzanero and rapper Edgardo Arias Franco, aka "El General," will each receive special awards during the ceremony. Manzanero will be presented with this year's Billboard Hall of Fame Award, while rapper Franco will be honored with the Billboard Spirit of Hope Award for his civic and humanitarian contributions through his foundation Ninos Pobres Sin Fronteras.
