Latin singer Thalia will release her English-language debut July 7 through Virgin. The first single from "Thalia" is "I Want You" with Fat Joe. The duet debuted this week at No. 27 on the Rhythmic Top 40 chart published by Billboard's sister publication Airplay Monitor.

The Mexican superstar worked with a host of producers on the album, including Steve Morales (Christina Aguilera, Enrique Iglesias), Rick Wake (Anastacia, Marc Anthony), and Cory Rooney (Jennifer Lopez, Destiny's Child).

Last year, Thalia released a Spanish-language Fonovisa/EMI Latin album under the same title. Earlier this month, the album was named the Latin pop album of the year, female at the Billboard Latin Music Awards in Miami. The set debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Latin Pop Albums and Top Latin Albums charts, and No. 126 on The Billboard 200.

In April, Mexican police arrested three suspects in relation to last year's kidnapping of Thalia's sisters, actress Laura Zapata and writer Ernestina Sodi. The pair were abducted in September after Zapata appeared in a play. The family, which includes Thalia's husband, former Sony Music chairman Tommy Mottola, has indicated that a ransom was paid for their safe release, but has not disclosed any details.
