Lips, Winwood Lead Bonnaroo NE Additions

The Flaming Lips, Steve Winwood, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, and an acoustic set by Hot Tuna are the newest additions to the lineup for Bonnaroo NE.

The Flaming Lips, Steve Winwood, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, and an acoustic set by Hot Tuna are the newest additions to the lineup for Bonnaroo NE. As previously reported, the inaugural festival will be held Aug. 8-10 in Riverhead, N.Y., and will be headlined by the Dead, Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, and Bob Dylan.

Other newly confirmed artists include the Radiators, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Lake Trout, Antibalas, the Bad Plus, Yerba Buena, and Acoustic Syndicate. They join such acts as the String Cheese Incident, Ween, Gov't Mule, Common, moe., Medeski Martin & Wood, Les Claypool's Frog Brigade, and the Disco Biscuits, among many others.

Bonnaroo NE will follow the second Bonnaroo event set for June 13-15 in Manchester, Tenn. Artists set for that show include the Dead, Neil Young & Crazy Horse, James Brown, Ben Harper, the Allman Brothers Band, and Widespread Panic.
