Fans who pre-order the forthcoming debut solo album by Beyonce Knowles online will receive a free download of a previously unreleased bonus track. Users completing orders for the Columbia set "Dangerously In Love," through the Sony Music Store site prior to its June 24 release date will receive a link to download the song "I Can't Take It No More."
As previously reported, the album was originally due July 8, but was moved up to June 24 in an effort to thwart Internet piracy and capitalize on the success of its lead single, "Crazy in Love" featuring Jay-Z. The title is up two to No. 5 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart and up one to No. 7 on the Hot 100.
The album features guest appearances by the likes of Luther Vandross, Missy Elliott, Sean Paul, and Outkast's Big Boi.
Several of the new album's songs will likely be previewed tomorrow (June 14) during the pay-per-view TV special, "Ford Presents Beyonce Knowles, Friends & Family, Live From Ford's 100th Anniversary Celebration in Dearborn, Michigan." Knowles will be joined by her Destiny's Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, her sister Solange Knowles, and other musical guests.
Regal Entertainment Group theaters will present a high definition broadcast of the special on its big screens in 20 U.S. cities, including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., and Atlanta. The full list of participating theaters can be found at Regal's Web site. Individual tickets ($10) and group tickets ($8) can be purchased through the site or 800-792-8244.
