Initial European dates on David Bowie's A Reality tour have been announced. Tickets for eight of the 10 announced shows are available to members of the artist's BowieNet fan club, through his official Web site. Public ticket sales are expected to begin this weekend, although details have not yet been released.

As first reported here, the world tour will kick off Oct. 7 in Copenhagen, and visit 30 European arenas before heading to North America, Australia, and Japan. The trek will be Bowie's most extensive tour in more than a decade.

Bowie will be touring in support of "Reality," a new ISO/Columbia studio album due in September.

Oct. 12: Oslo (The Spectrum)
