Charlie's Angels'Full' Time
Pink, Nas, David Bowie and Nickelback have recorded new songs for the "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle" soundtrack, due this week on Columbia Records/Sony Music Soundtrax. Pink's "Feel Good Time," featuring William Orbit, is the first single and video from the soundtrack. Also new is "Nas' Angels...The Flyest" from Nas and featuring Neptunes producer/N*E*R*D member Pharrell Williams.
David Bowie re-recorded his 1974 song "Rebel Rebel" specifically for the soundtrack. The new version starts off with a slower arrangement than the original, accelerates into a driving mid-section, and then ends with the same slower, stripped-down arrangement. The set is rounded out by previously released offerings from Bon Jovi, Electric Six, the Beach Boys, Loverboy, MC Hammer, Donna Summer, the late Andy Gibb, Edwyn Collins and Natalie Cole.
The soundtrack precedes the June 27 theatrical release of "Full Throttle," with Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu reprising their roles from the 2000 film "Charlie's Angels." Pink has a cameo in "Full Throttle" during a motorcross scene.
