David Bowie's A Reality tour will arrive in North America Dec. 6 in Atlantic City, N.J., and wrap Feb. 5 in Phoenix. As previously reported, the trek -- Bowie's most extensive in more than a decade -- gets underway Oct. 7 in Copenhagen. Macy Gray will support the North American leg of the tour, named after Bowie's just-released ISO/Columbia album, "Reality."

Tickets for some North American shows go on-sale this weekend. As usual, members of Bowie's BowieNet fan organization will get first crack at seats. In a new twist, each ticket sold for the tour will include a free three-month membership to BowieNet, which has been providing uncommon access to Bowie since its 1998 launch.

"Last year's shows were such a tremendous high and the audiences so responsive," Bowie says in a statement. "My band is playing at the top of its form right now and it would be foolish not to play a tour this year while we're in such good spirits about the live show aspects of our work."

Although the majority of the North American shows will be held in arenas, there are a handful of smaller venues on the schedule, including the 1,500-capacity Joint in Las Vegas and the 3,600-capacity Fillmore in Denver. After North America, the A Reality tour will hit Australia and Southeast Asia.
