Jam band moe. has partnered with Clear Channel Entertainment to offer CDs of performances from its current U.S. tour through the company's "Instant Live" program. Coca-Cola is sponsoring the initiative, which will allow fans to purchase the CDs minutes after the concerts end.

This will be the first full-scale tour to utilize Instant Live, after a test run with the Allman Brothers Band this summer. The service will be available at 21 dates on the moe. tour, starting Saturday in Memphis and ending with a New Year's Eve show in Camden, N.J.

Instant Live will record the concerts with a mix of soundboard feeds and ambient microphones and will produce two-CD sets of the entire performance. The sets will sell for about $15. The band's manager, Jon Topper, says in a statement that the deal will not affect moe.'s taping policy, which allows fans to record shows from the audience.

As reported yesterday, moe. will stage the Headbangers' Left Ball: An Evening of Heavy moe.tal on Halloween (Oct. 31) at Chicago's Aragon Ballroom.
