As first revealed here, the Barenaked Ladies will launch a small-venue tour to coincide with the release of their new album, "Everything for Everyone" (Reprise). The run will kick off at Boston's Orpheum Theatre Oct. 21, the same date as the album's release.

Confirmed dates are limited to the eastern half of the U.S. The announcement to the band's Ladies Room fan club promised more dates to come. It is unknown if those dates will be more theater shows or an expected full-scale arena tour in support of the album.

Prior to the tour, the band is slated to play WBMX Boston's Mixfest on Oct. 3 and T-Mobile's exclusive Oct. 16 Alcatraz concert in San Francisco Bay with Train. The Ladies are also scheduled to appear at WKSE Buffalo's Dec. 13 Kissmas Bash.

A limited edition of "Everything for Everyone" will feature the 14-track Ron Aniello-produced set and acoustic versions of three of the album's songs "Another Postcard," "Maybe Kate" and "Second Best." A third, "special edition" version of the set will feature the album in surround sound and video footage of acoustic performances of 11 songs. The package will also provide access to five songs available via the Internet.
