Sheryl Crow, Kid Rock, Ricky Martin, OutKast, Ruben Studdard and Clay Aiken have been added to the performance lineup for the 31st annual American Music Awards. They will join previously confirmed performers Ashanti, Hilary Duff, Alan Jackson, Metallica and Britney Spears.

The Nov. 16 ceremony will take place at Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium and will be broadcast live on ABC.

As previously reported, Justin Timberlake, Kid Rock, Ashanti, R. Kelly, Beyoncé, Tim McGraw, Toby Keith, Shania Twain, 50 Cent and Sean Paul are all multiple nominees. Winners will be selected by the public, via a national poll of 20,000 music listeners.

Aiken, Beyoncé, 50 Cent, McGraw and Timberlake also join matchbox twenty in the Fans' Choice Award category. The winner of the honor is determined by an Internet vote at abc.com (keyword: AMA). Voting will conclude during the AMA broadcast, which will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.
