Emerging R&B singer Marques Houston, late of 1990s group IMx (aka Immature), will release his solo debut, "MH," Oct. 21 on T.U.G./Elektra Records. Lead single "Clubbin'" featuring Joe Budden and Pied Piper is at No. 56 on Billboard's Hot 100 in its sixth week on the chart.

"Clubbin'" was produced by R. Kelly (who performs under the pseudonym Pied Piper). He was joined by producers Kenny "Bermuda" Whitehead and Troy Taylor behind the boards of "MH." Houston co-wrote most of the tracks on the album, which also features a guest turn by Jermaine Dupri on "Pop That Booty."

Houston was one of the founding members of Immature, starting the pre-teen R&B trio in 1990 at the tender age of eight. After an album on Virgin and three for MCA, the band changed its name to IMx, releasing two sets under the new moniker.

As previously reported, Houston stars in the upcoming Screen Gems/Columbia Pictures hip-hop dance film "You Got Served" along with B2K members Lil' Fizz, J. Boog, Raz B and Omarion, Houston's brother. Houston's budding acting career has also included roles on the WB series "Sister Sister" and the comedies "House Party 3" and "House Party 4."
