Willie Nelson, Sheryl Crow and Hank Williams Jr. are among those confirmed to take part in a memorial musical tribute to Johnny Cash. The event will be held Nov. 10 at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium, the original home of the Grand Ole Opry.

Cash died Sept. 12 from complications related to diabetes. He was 71.

Also slated to appear are the country music legend's daughter, Rosanne Cash, Kris Kristofferson, Larry Gatlin, Steve Earle and Jack Clement. U2 lead singer Bono, Bruce Springsteen and Bob Dylan have all been invited, but are not yet confirmed, according to a statement.

"[The Cash] family just wanted to give the public closure to their feelings about John's death," Cash's manager Lou Robin says. "They thought maybe this would be an opportunity for a lot of different entertainers to come and voice their feelings and perform and entertain."

Tickets to the event will be free, although details on their distribution have not yet been revealed.
