An eyewitness told ET the man was allegedly yelling for Swift to come out of her home. A rep for the pop star released a statement on the incident to the publication: "This is why it's irresponsible for the media to publish the addresses or recent real estate transactions of celebrities."

The man was subsequently transported to the West L.A. Division police station for further medical evaluation. He was not charged with a crime and was released from police custody. His identity has not been made public, ET reports.

It's unknown if Swift was at home at the time.
