Puddle Of Mudd Rocks For Fire Victims

Tickets go on sale today (Nov. 7) via Ticketmaster's Web site and via traditional outlets tomorrow.

Puddle Of Mudd has added a benefit concert in San Diego to its current string of club dates in advance of its forthcoming Flawless/Geffen album, "Life on Display." The Nov. 15 show at San Diego rock club Soma will raise money for a Salvation Army fund created to help victims of the forest fires in Southern California. Tickets go on sale today (Nov. 7) via Ticketmaster's Web site and via traditional outlets tomorrow.

Puddle Of Mudd is scheduled to be on the road until a Nov. 21 show in Seattle. The group's latest single, "Away From Me," is at No. 6 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. The cut appears on the much-delayed "Life on Display," due Nov. 25. The second effort from the hard rock act was originally expected early this year, but, as previously reported, the band spent far more time in the studio than anticipated.

"Life on Display" was recorded in Los Angeles, and features production work from John Kurzeg (Creed) and Michael Baskette (Stone Temple Pilots). It's the follow-up to 2001's "Come Clean," which peaked at No. 9 on The Billboard 200 and has sold 3.5 million copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan.
