Teen R&B quartet will on Dec. 23 release "You Got Served," a soundtrack to the upcoming film of the same name. Due for U.S. theatrical release on Jan. 30, the film marks B2K's big screen debut, and also stars Marques Houston, Lil' Kim and Steve Harvey. B2K has begun to line up dates in support of the album and movie, beginning Dec. 26 in Los Angeles.
While a full track list has not yet been made available, the lead single from "You Got Served" is "Bada Boom" featuring Fabolous (a vinyl single for the cut will be released Dec. 2). Other guests on the soundtrack include Houston, Lil' Kim, Jagged Edge and newcomers Jhene, ATL and XSO Drive.
B2K has confirmed six dates in support of the project, including a New Year's Eve show in Philadelphia. Updates will be posted on the group's official Web site.
In B2K's young career, the group has scored two top-10 albums on The Billboard 200. B2K's self-titled Epic Records debut peaked at No. 2, and the follow-up, "Pandemonium," peaked at No. 10. Both were released in 2002, and have together sold close to 2 million copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan.
