Kenny Chesney will begin his 2004 touring efforts with a March 17 appearance at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, to be followed by a run of North American arenas with Keith Urban and Dierks Bentley, Billboard Bulletin reports.

Sources say Chesney is also in discussions for a summer amphitheater tour with Rascal Flatts. The artist has developed into one of country's top headliners, taking in nearly $40 million in 2003, according to Billboard Boxscores.

Chesney's only remaining 2003 date is Dec. 5 in Bloomington, Minn., where he will play a short free Christmas-themed show for patrons at the mammoth Mall of America, followed by an autograph session. Details are available on the Mall's official Web site.

The artist's most recent BNA release, "All I Want for Christmas Is a Real Good Tan," is No. 9 this week on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart and has sold 62,000 copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan.
