A host of musicians will be on hand to pay tribute to Sting when he is honored in Feburary as the MusiCares person of the year. The Feb. 6 gala event in Los Angeles will feature performances by Tony Bennett, Black Eyed Peas, Elvis Costello, Dido, Elton John, Diana Krall, k.d. lang, Dave Matthews, John Mayer and Rufus Wainwright.

As previously reported, Sting is being honored for his accomplishments as a musician, humanitarian and environmental activist.

Tomorrow (Dec. 10), Sting will receive the Billboard Century Award at the 2003 Billboard Music Awards, where he is also slated to perform. The show will be broadcast live on Fox beginning at 8 p.m. ET (tape delayed on the West Coast).
