Singer k.d. lang will give two performances next summer to passengers on a special cruise presented by lesbian-themed travel company Olivia. The Boston-to-Montreal itinerary is scheduled for July 3-10, and will follow a mass wedding ceremony in Boston.
"I am excited for my first Olivia performance and the chance to share my music with such an inspiring group of women," lang says in a statement.
The "lesbian honeymoon cruise" will take up to 1,200 passengers on Holland America's MS Maasdam ship, and lang will give two performances during dockings, one July 3 in Boston and the other July 3 in Provincetown, Mass. For more information, visit Olivia's official Web site.
