Melissa Etheridge is gearing up for a rare club tour in support of her upcoming Island album, "Lucky," due Feb. 10. The artist will play 21 dates in six U.S. cities, beginning Feb. 17 with a four-night stand in West Hollywood, Calif. The trek wraps with a March 25-28 run at Washington, D.C.'s 9:30 Club.
Fans have two special ticket options via Etheridge's official Web site. The first allows for special entry through the artist's Melissa Etheridge Information Network fan club, while the "Super ME" ticket offers special entry, a pre-show reception, VIP section access, a poster and a laminate. The site is also offering travel packages to the gigs.
Ten copies of "Lucky" will feature a coveted "golden ticket," entitling the recipient to such prizes as a trip to see Etheridge at a future concert in Las Vegas, an autographed guitar and two tickets to see Etheridge anywhere in the U.S.
The new album's first single, "Breathe," can be sampled from Etheridge's site. She will perform the track Feb. 2 on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno." "Lucky" is the follow-up to 2001's "Skin," which debuted at No. 9 on The Billboard 200.
