Keys, Arie, Cash Tribute Set For Jamaica Fest

Alicia Keys, India.Arie, Kenny Rogers and Michael McDonald are among the artists confirmed to perform at the Air Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival. Set for Jan. 22-25 at the Cinnamon Hill Golf Course in Rose Hall, Montego Bay, the event will also feature a musical tribute to late country icon Johnny Cash, who kept a home in the area for many years.

Arie is slated to appear on the first day of the seventh annual festival along with Beres Hammond, Nancy Wilson and others. The Jan. 23 bill will feature Rogers, Bobby Womack and Monty Alexander, along with the Cash tribute, which the event's Web site says will be made up of family members and friends of the artist.

Keys and McDonald will perform Jan. 24 on a bill that will also include Omar Cunningham and George Nooks.

Tickets for the event are $45 per day for the first three days and $20 for the final day's gospel concert featuring Papa San, Carleen Davis and Junior Tucker.
