Billboard Ranked No. 1 U.S. Brand on Twitter

Leading social media benchmarking and predictive analytics firm Shareablee Inc. released the Top 25 Social U.S. Brands in Q3 2015 -- and Billboard was named the leading U.S. brand on Twitter with 6.1 million engaged actions in Q3.

Measuring engagement between July 1 and Sept. 30, 2015, Billboard beat out the number two brand, the NFL, by 900,000 Twitter actions. The rest of the top five included ESPN, BuzzFeed and MTV.

Q3 also saw Billboard introduce the first-ever Billboard Hot 100 Music Festival, which broke attendance records at the Nikon at Jones Beach Theater in New York.
