Fatboy Slim will drop in for a DJ set at the July 28 performance of "De La Guarda" at New York's Daryl Roth Theatre. His appearance comes as part of the production's "DJ Connection" series, in which DJs take over the soundtrack for an extended version of the show.

Other DJs booked to appear throughout the summer include Hex Hector (July 24), Larry Tee (July 31), Junior Sanchez (Aug. 14), Dave Aude (Aug. 21) and Gabriel & Dresden (Sept. 4). Tickets are $65 and can be purchased via Telecharge.

As previously reported, Fatboy Slim is gearing up for the release of his next Astralwerks studio album, "Palookaville," due Oct. 5. Guests include Blur's Damon Albarn, Blackalicious's Lateef, producer Justin Robertson and U.K. rock act Johnny Quality.

The only other date on Slim's upcoming schedule is an Aug. 14 appearance at the Creamfields Festival in Murcia, Spain. Among the other acts on the bill are Massive Attack, Paul Oakenfold, the Orb, Way Out West and Goldfrapp.
