Shortly after his debut solo album emerges, former Butthole Surfers frontman Gibby Haynes will hit the road to support the set. As previously reported, "Gibby Haynes & His Problem" is due Aug. 24 via Surfdog Records.

The tour is set to begin and end at Emo's in Haynes' home base of Austin, Texas, starting Sept. 4 and concluding Oct. 9.

Joining Haynes on the album and on the road will be guitarists Kyle Ellison (Meat Puppets) and Nathan Calhoun and drummer Shandon Sahm (son of legendary Texas singer/songwriter Doug Sahm), as well as newly recruited bassist Abby Travis (KMFDM, Meat Puppets).
