Lil' Jon and Foxy Brown are getting into the fashion business, with their own lines of sunglasses and furs, respectively. Lil' Jon's line of limited-edition sunglasses will debut at U.S. retail stores Monday (Aug. 9). The rapper/producer will host a party that night at New York nightclub Butter to celebrate the new line and his already-launched Crunk energy drink.

As for Brown, she has inked a deal with Alexis & Gianni Enterprises to launch a line of furs at retail this fall. The new line will sell items under two brand names: Foxy Brown Luxury Furs, which will have retail prices ranging from about $500 to $9,000 each, and the higher-end Marchand brand, prices for which will range from $3,000 to $15,000. The brand, which has opened a Seventh Avenue showroom in New York, will offer mink coats, chinchilla boleros and sable stoles.

Meanwhile, the future of Brown's recording career is uncertain. The artist has parted ways with Def Jam Records, which released her 1996 debut "Ill Na Na," 1999's "Chyna Doll" and her most recent set, 2001's "Broken Silence." A spokesperson says she is working on a new album titled "Black Roses," which could be released by the end of the year. "Several" major labels labels are interested in signing Brown, according to the spokesperson.

As previously reported, the artist has a development deal with MTV for a reality show titled "Foxy's Family," but the network has yet to set a premiere date.
