Amidst its first career-spanning survey, hard rock act Korn plans to include two choice cover songs. A version of Cameo's 1986 top 10 hit "Word Up" will serve as the first single from "Greatest Hits Vol. 1," due Oct. 19 via Immortal/Epic.

The 19-track disc will also boast a cover of Pink Floyd's "Another Brick in the Wall, Parts 1, 2, 3," alongside such Korn favorites as "A.D.I.D.A.S.," "Falling Away From Me" and "Here To Stay."

"Freak on a Leash," a single that reached No. 6 on Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks chart and No. 10 on Mainstream Rock Tracks tally in 1999, appears twice on the set. Along with the original album version, a Dante Ross (Everlast, Santana) remix is included as a bonus track.

As previously reported, Korn is currently out on Linkin Park's Projekt Revolution tour with Snoop Dogg, Less Than Jake and others. The trek stops today (Aug. 9) in Burgettstown, Pa., near Pittsburgh.
