Marilyn Manson's upcoming best-of collection "Lest We Forget" will be led by a cover of Depeche Mode's "Personal Jesus."

As tipped here in April, Marilyn Manson's upcoming best-of collection "Lest We Forget" will be led by a cover of Depeche Mode's "Personal Jesus," the original version of which reached No. 3 on Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks chart in 1989. "Lest We Forget" is due Sept. 28 via Interscope.

The album will also sport Manson's covers of Soft Cell's "Tainted Love" and Eurythmics' "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This), plus his own most familiar material like "The Dope Show," "The Beautiful People" and "mOBSCENE."

Limited editions of "Lest We Forget" will be bundled with a DVD featuring 20 music videos, including the previously unreleased uncensored clip for "(s)AINT," directed by Italian actress Asia Argento.

Manson is at work on his next studio album, which will be the follow-up to 2003's chart-topping "The Golden Age of Grotesque."
