Smith, whose 1975 album release Horses inspired the New York punk scene and is considered one of the finest in recorded music history, has performed a song for the upcoming finale of Aqua Teen Hunger Force

Patti Smith's 'Just Kids' Memoir to Become a Showtime Series

The Adult Swim cable network has shared the piano-and-vocals track "Aqua Teen Dream," which it describes as a “haunting elegy for the dearly departed.”

Sings Smith, “I never dreamed, I’d be an Aqua Teen. Thirteen seasons, what did it mean? A Master Shake, Meatwad, a floating head. And now you’re dead. And it’s the end, of ‘Aqua Teen Hunger Force.'”
