U.K. rock act Travis has set a Nov. 1 international release date for the retrospective "Travis: Singles" and an as-yet-unnamed DVD.

U.K. rock act Travis has set a Nov. 1 international release date for the retrospective "Travis: Singles" and an as-yet-unnamed DVD. The 17-track album will be preceded Oct. 18 by a new single, "Walking in the Sun," which was produced by Mike Hedges and Nigel Godrich.

The track listing includes such U.K. hits as "Driftwood," "Why Does It Always Rain on Me?," "Flowers in the Window," "Sing," "Re-Offender" and "Turn."

As for the DVD, it sports all of Travis' music videos, behind-the-scenes footage, live clips and performances on such television programs as the 2003 MTV Europe Music Awards and VH1's "Storytellers."

Prior to the release, the group will on Sept. 14 unveil the previously announced DVD "Travis at the Palace," chronicling a Dec. 20, 2003, show at London's Alexandra Palace. In addition, Travis' cover of Cat Stevens' "Don't Be Shy" will be heard on the "Everwood" soundtrack, due Oct. 19 via Nettwerk.

The band has begun work on its fifth Epic studio album, due next year. It will be the follow-up to 2003's "12 Memories," which debuted at No. 41 on The Billboard 200.
