News on Romeo, Josh Gracin, Wynonna

RomeoAs previously tipped here, teenage rapper/actor Romeo will release his third album, "Romeoland," Sept. 21 via No Limit/Koch Records. The album is led by first single "My Cinderella" featuring Tatyana Ali and Nick Cannon.

"I talk a whole lot about girls. The album is a lot of fun," the 15-year-old artist says. "There's something on it for everybody, songs you can dance to and songs you can sing along with."

In addition to the upcoming second season of his Nickelodeon TV series "Romeo," the artist will star opposite his father, rapper/No Limit founder Master P, in the film "Uncle P," due in U.S. theaters in January.

GracinFormer "American Idol" contestant/Lance Corporal Josh Gracin received an Honorable Discharge from the U.S. Marines today (Sept. 8). The Lyric Street recording artist is expected to fly from California's Camp Pendleton to Nashville to spend some time with is wife and daughter before hitting the road to promote his Lyric Street debut, "Nothin' To Lose."

On Saturday (Sept. 11), Gracin is slated to perform on CBS' "Early Show" and deliver the National Anthem Sunday at the Delphi 300 at Chicagoland Speedway, which will be broadcast live on ABC. Next month he'll support Brad Paisley's U.S. tour.

Released June, "Nothin' To Lose" debuted at No. 2 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart and No. 11 on The Billboard 200. The set has sold 195,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

WynonnaWynonna has signed on as the headline performer for a four-night Caribbean cruise chartered by Olivia, a San Francisco-based travel agency catering to the lesbian and gay community. The Jan. 29-Feb. 2 sailing will feature an intimate acoustic performance by the artist.

"She's much-loved and requested by our guests," Olivia CEO Amy Errett says. "And an acoustic performance? It's going to be incredible."

Past Olivia cruises have featured k.d. lang and the Indigo Girls. For more information, visit the company's Web site.

As previously reported, Wynonna will kick off the Her Story: Scenes From a Lifetime tour Oct. 14 in Madison, Wis.. The music and storytelling show, described as a biographical account of her life and career, will wrap Nov. 20 in Seattle.
